Cozy Point Retreat was established in 2023, this retreat was built to be much more than just an accommodation; it was constructed to offer an immersive experience that is designed to redefine your getaway expectations.
Cozy Point Retreat is a 2 bedroom Luxury Geodesic Dome structure, overflowing with resort features.
It sits on a small parcel of land which is fairly private, the location offers great views of a beautiful lake called, Victor Lake "in French Lac à Victor", which is situated just alongside the dome itself.
Inside the dome itself, you will find 710 sq ft. of comfortable living space, including a well-stocked kitchenette, 2 bedrooms - both furnished with king beds - a lower level, "main floor" bedroom, and a secondary loft bedroom. The loft bedroom is accessed via full stairwell, both bedrooms are spacious with comfort in mind.
The loft area also has a desk and chair should you care to work from this location. The bathroom has a shower, vanity and an optional bidet for your sanitation and comfort.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
As this Geodesic dome was built with comfort in mind, so was the outdoor area of this property, the dome was built on a 35' by 40' wooden deck, with lots of space which includes a nice selection of outdoor furniture to ensure your comfort as you enjoy this majestic location.
The outdoor cooking area sits inside a nice barbecue hut enclosure that has a 360° view of your environment, this enclosure is found just a few feet away from the entry to the dome itself.
The barbecue hut enclosure holds a large barbecue, a flat top grill with side burner, and an awesome pizza oven with built in smoker, cooking at it's best! Rain or shine you will be dry when cooking in comfort, yet you will be outdoors!
A smokeless wood fire pit can also be found outdoor for your enjoyment "Fire wood included during your stay"
Private outdoor yoga deck can be found just a few feet away.
2 kayaks, 1 upscale double ribbed cedar lake canoe, and 1paddle board available for your enjoyment, life jackets available on site. "Fishing is great on this lake"

NOTES
SMOKING
Smoking is NOT allowed within the dome itself, but smokers may smoke anywhere outdoors on this property, and please use provided butt buckets in order to keep this property clean and respectable for all to enjoy!
SCENTS
We promote a scent free environment, so please refrain from using scents within the dome itself with respect to our clients that have sensitivities to scents / chemicals and such!
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have full access to this site, the only restriction is a small closet found within the dome itself which is accessed via keypad lock, this is simply storage space used by staff for cleaning supplies etc.
We have worked very hard to build and offer this upscale accommodation, and so please respect this space, we also work very hard to keep it clean and presentable for all of our guests to enjoy, so once on site please try to keep this property clean and respectable order for all to enjoy.
THE LAKE
This is the lake / location that is at the starting point where the very popular annual Easter weekend canoe trip starts, this event is held in the Municipality of the District of Clare and has been happening since 1973.
This event has now reached legendary status in our area, so if you have a canoe, kayak or a 4-wheeler, "or similar vehicle", it would be a great place as a base to follow this canoe trip that lasts a full two days.
This event is very popular, and has the potential to get fairly large some years, in some cases in excess of 650 4-wheeler's have been documented during this event, in addition to all the vehicles that participate every year, so in essence it typically is a huge & fun event which brings in hundreds to thousands of people down to the Clare area.
Additionally, this lake is a great fishing lake which hosts yearly fishing tournaments; the catch includes small mouth bass, Chain Pickerel, white perch and the occasional catfish! To our knowledge the largest Chain Pickerel caught in this lake was 36” long.
